About Tom Dixon
Self-taught design maverick Tom Dixon made his name selling limited edition welded furniture such as the S Chair and Pylon Chair.
Formerly head of the UK design studio for Habitat, he now designs furniture for Artek, the Finnish manufacturer founded by the architect Alvar Aalto in the 1930s.
